About Amiens Clinic History and Values
The Policies of the Amiens Clinic are based on the four A’s of general Practice:
Ability, affordability, affability and availability. Dr Peter Pitt (who retired in 1992 due to sudden ill health) established the Amiens clinic in the 1950’s.
In early 2016 the clinic was extensively renovated and became part of the Northcare Health Centre, a non-corporate, multidisciplinary health centre including General Practice, Allied Health Providers (including Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Dietitians, Diabetes Educators & Physiotherapy), a Gym, Pathology Services, Cardiology outreach, Indigenous community support and a Pharmacy in one location.
Professional & Caring
Dr Greg Pitt and the dedicated team of medical professionals carry a wealth of experience and expertise between them. Like the clinic itself, the team has been built around the need to provide professional and caring services to patients and their families from minor health issues, family planning, health checks, cancer screening and checks and even and onsite psychologist. The clinic is here to help and your health is our primary focus.
